This will be an overview of last week and a preview of the upcoming weeks. Last Thursday, OP50 Cultures were prepared as were two liquid cultures (pos and neg by each group). Chunks were then cut after OP50 was put on plates on Friday. This will allow us to plate the liquid cultures on Monday and discuss a Rutgers Assignment. We can then pick worms on Tuesday, beginning a screen and continuing the Rutgers project the following day. Proceeding with the screening and the assignment untilt he ninth of October, we will then discuss our results and report to Rutgers on Thursday the tenth. The following day some of us will go to the Waksman Institute at the University.
